Dipping the mast

I will soon be looking for a Marshal Sanderling, but I have to negotiate a 17 foot bridge to get to the ocean.  I am wondering how hard it is to motor with the mast, boom and gaff down, and then how hard to raise and then lower the hinged mast on the water.  I do have a sheltered spot I can duck into for the raising and lowering so I can avoid the waves.  Thoughts and experiences welcome.

In my 70s and can manage maybe once per year. Best to find someone under 40, 6-2 and 200 lbs to help. Hinge system works very well, great design and construction. Need a new crutch to hold folded mast, with boom rest on the side, 8 to 12 longer than standard makes moving around cocpit easier. Tiddy up halyards against mast, as much as possible - tend to snag at in-oppurtune times. Probably allow 20 minutes to do the process.
Great boat have fun.
