Historic Catboat Photos

Hi Catboaters,
So I just went back to look at some of the old catboat photos that the
Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA) has online
and found that they've scanned many of them in at super high-resolution
allowing you to zoom way in and see all sorts of details on these old
boats. There are several CC Hanley boats photographed such as Harbinger,
Almira, Clara, Surprise, Mucilage, Superior and Alma.

Among the details that catch my eye is that the inboard end of the booms
are all super low and most appear to be set on a "crab" rather than a
gooseneck fitted to the mast.
